Training and Placement Cell

Jayamukhi Institute of Management Sciences has an Training and Placement Cell located on the campus. It is committed to provide training to the students to face interviews. It invites reputed firms to come to the College and conduct placement interviews to select eligible students for the available positions in their respective organizations. It is headed by an Officer designated as a Training & Placement officer and supported by (3) Placement Coordinators. The College encourages the MBA students quiet in advance of the visits of the employing companies The Training and Placement Cell arrangesshort-duration training programs in consultation with different organizations of national repute. The Institute has number of cubicles equipped with LCD projectors, PCs, and audio-video facilities to prepare the students to face the interviews. . The T & P cell has a sufficient number of interview rooms. It has dedicated IP-based videoconferencing and dedicated internet connectivity for the online examinations Many books are available in the library to help students prepare for the interview. Efforts are being made to improve the communication, group discussion, and presentation skills. The Training and Placement Cell strives to Our students have lived up to the expectations of organizations that visit our campus, looking for bright candidates to take up important and challenging responsibilities at their workplace. The T&P Cell nurturesindustry-institute interaction, by organizing and coordinating frequent industrial visits, in-plant training, internship programs with the sole objective of zeroing down the gap between the industry and the academia. Students are also given an opportunity to work on live projects in both government and non-government firms. It is the practice of the T&P cell to arrange pre-placement talks, presentations by the company for the students, These talks allow the students to know the status of the companies. The department has set up all the required facilities for the conduction of the recruitment process such as a seminar hall for company presentations, group discussions and conferencing facilities, and interview and discussion rooms. The T&P has excellent track record of getting placements in companies like Mahindra, Satyam, Infosys, TCS and IBM.
